PvZ Fusion: Plants vs Zombies where two plants become one
PvZ Fusion (full name Plants vs. Zombies: Fusion) is a fan-made game by a Chinese developer who goes by Blue Fly (蓝飘飘fly) and posts the game's videos on Bilibili. It takes the lawns, plants and zombies of PopCap's 2009 Plants vs Zombies and adds one big idea: plant one plant on top of another and the two fuse into a new plant. A Sunflower with a Peashooter planted on it becomes a Sunshooter. A Peashooter on a Wall-nut becomes a Peanut that fires rolling nuts. Two Repeaters make a Gatling Pea.
According to the community wiki's update log, development started in May 2024 in Unity and version 1.0 came out on 30 June 2024 for PC. An Android build followed with version 2.0.3 in August 2024, and the game has kept growing since, through 3.0 in September 2025 and 4.0 in September 2026. It is not an EA or PopCap product, and there is no official web version: the wiki points players to the game's own Discord server for downloads. Pages that promise "PvZ Fusion unblocked" in a browser tab are showing something else, usually an unrelated PvZ clone.

Plants vs Zombies basics that also carry over to PvZ Fusion
- Sunflowers first: Spend the opening sun on two or three Sunflowers in the back column before you build any attack. Every later plant is paid for by them.
- One shooter per busy row: Zombies come in one row at a time early on. Put a Peashooter in the row that has a zombie, not in every row at once.
- Wall-nuts buy time: A Wall-nut in front of your shooters holds a zombie in place while the peas do the work. Replace it before it breaks.
- Save Cherry Bombs for crowds: An explosive is worth most on a cluster or a tough zombie. Using it on a single basic zombie wastes the recharge.
- Speed up the quiet parts: The Speed button skips the slow build-up of a level. Drop back to normal speed when the big wave flag rises.
- In Fusion, plan the base plant: Fusion builds on a plant already in the ground, so in PvZ Fusion the first plant you place on a tile decides what it can become.
